Pharmacological action

The mechanism of its action is that it binds to β-tubulin in nematodes and prevents it from polymerizing with β-tubulin to form microtubules, thus affecting mitosis, protein assembly, energy metabolism and other cell reproductive processes in nematodes. This product not only has a strong effect on adult worms, but also has a strong effect on immature worms and larvae, and has the effect of killing eggs. Albendazole has a significantly higher affinity for nematode tubulin than mammalian tubulin and thus has little mammalian toxicity.
