[Character] This product is white or almost white powder.

[Pharmacological action] Pharmacodynamics Guitarimycin belongs to macrolide antibiotics, with antibacterial spectrum similar to erythromycin, and the mechanism of action is the same as erythromycin. Sensitive gram-positive bacteria include Staphylococcus aureus (including penicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus), pneumococcus, streptococcus, anthrax, erysipelas suis, listeria, clostridium putrescence, clostridium anthracis, etc. Sensitive gram-negative bacteria include Haemophilus influenzae, meningococcus, Pasteurella, etc. In addition, it also has good effect on mycoplasma. The antibacterial effect against most gram-positive bacteria is slightly inferior to that against gram-positive bacteria.

Erythromycin has similar antibacterial effect on mycoplasma to tylosin, and is also effective on rickettsia and spirochetes

The effect of resistant Staphylococcus aureus was better than erythromycin and tetracycline. The pharmacokinetics was well absorbed after oral administration and reached the peak concentration in blood 2 hours later. It is widely distributed in the main organs, among which the concentration in liver, lung, kidney and muscle is higher than that in blood. It is mainly excreted through the hepatobiliary system, with high concentration in bile and feces. A small amount is excreted through the kidney.

[Drug interaction] (1) Because of the same target, it should not be used at the same time as other macrolides, linco amines and amide alcohols.

(2) When combined with B-lactam, it has antagonistic effect.

[Function and use] Macrolide antibiotics. It is mainly used to treat infectious diseases caused by gram-positive bacteria, mycoplasma, etc.

[Adverse reactions] After oral administration, animals may have dose dependent gastrointestinal dysfunction (such as vomiting, diarrhea, intestinal pain, etc.), with a lower incidence than erythromycin.

[Precautions] Chickens that lay eggs for human consumption shall not be used during the laying period.
